$12Mn MEP Delivered with Precision for Agratas
On the Agratas energy facility, a 3,600-line MEP package worth $12M was delivered with zero data loss, full billing transparency, and 28% less material wastage.
MEP Scope Delivered
Reduction in Material Wastage
Reduction in Reporting Time
The challenge
Managing a multi-million-dollar MEP package requires an unshakeable digital architecture. For the Agratas energy facility, the challenge was the sheer scale of the Bill of Quantities, which featured over 3,600 individual line items.
In large-scale energy infrastructure, manual tracking of cable trays, piping, and electrical switchgear often leads to massive vendor overbilling and material wastage. At this scale, even a small percentage of leakage represents a serious sum.
The project objective was to digitize the entire execution pipeline so that every rupee spent was matched to a physically verified installation on-site.
The solution
We implemented a centralized data ecosystem that connected site-level execution with back-office financial control. By mapping the entire 3,600-item BOQ into our PostgreSQL-backed cloud environment, we established a single source of truth for all stakeholders.
Site engineers logged installations instantly through real-time Goods Receipt Notes and a mobile-first DPR app. This data was bi-directionally synced with the corporate ERP via secure SAP and Tally integration.
Vendor payments were authorized only when site progress was mathematically and visually verified through the platform, and MIS dashboards gave the executive team continuous visibility into a $4.5M vendor exposure.
The outcome
The deployment delivered absolute financial transparency across the $12M package. By replacing fragmented spreadsheets with an automated procurement workflow, the client controlled its full vendor exposure and entirely eliminated unauthorized overbilling.
Material wastage fell by 28 percent as consumption was tracked against verified installation, and reporting time dropped by 70 percent because the platform auto-generated Daily Progress Reports for stakeholders.
The transition to a unified digital architecture protected project margins and gave the executive team the real-time intelligence needed to ensure on-time delivery of the Agratas facility.
